Taking the bus to enjoy the many attractions of September in Manhattan is a wise decision by any standard. The weather is magnificent and features some of the best days of the year, and there are festivals galore that take advantage of the near-perfect weather. The benefits of taking the bus include lower energy usage per passenger than any other type of transportation. The convenience of bus travel allows group travelers to move around, enjoy excellent internet access and travel in roomy seats where anyone has enough room to be comfortable.
Buses are safer than most people think. The National Safety Council reports that buses are 170 times safer than a passenger vehicle. That means for each bus accident, there are 170 vehicle accidents. If people take the bus, there are fewer cars on the road and safer travel for everyone.
