The Lincoln Memorial
Overlooking the Reflecting Pool is the towering Lincoln Memorial. Built in honor of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, this American monument is a must-see on the tour. Inside, you can find his 19-foot marble statue as well as inscriptions from his Gettysburg Address and Second Inaugural Address bordering its grandeur.
The Korean War Veterans Memorial
One of the most beautiful and touching sights in Washington DC is the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
